Properties of HIPS from the plastic family Support
HIPS generally has similar properties to ABS, but it also has extremely high-impact strength and hardness.
The most striking property is probably the solubility with certain chemicals, with D-limonene being the most popular here. This makes HIPS an ideal support material for ABS.
