Via the universal laser adapter PLH3D-CNC

The main function of the PLH3D-CNC adapter is to “arm” and “disarm” the laser head. Arming means switching on the head power supply; the charged head is then able to generate a laser beam. Disarming (switching off the head power supply) puts the laser head in a safe state in which the generation of a laser beam is completely impossible.

The laser head can be checked by generating a short laser pulse at maximum power.

Built-in safety devices prevent misuse and unexpected behavior in an emergency. The key switch protects the laser head from arming by children and other unauthorized persons. The laser head is always armed manually by the user at the push of a button. A special circuit prevents arming in the event of a malfunction of the internal electronics. The laser head is automatically disarmed in an emergency: power failure, power supply failure, breakage or disconnection of the laser head cable. After disarming, the system remains in a secure state and waking up always requires the user to press the button.
